This version 9.0 includes particle effects, fur effects, hair effects, and warp lights,
You WON'T find these features in later version of "Alias". This version (9.0) is the LAST version to have many special effects built into the package because this version (9.0) was targeted at animators and the later versions of "Alias" were strictly targeted at industrial designers only. Enjoy.
ALSO PLEASE NOTE:
The License Path folder should be "C:/Flexlm" (no quotation marks)... NOT "Flexm". Hope this helps.
ANOTHER VERY IMPORTANT NOTE:
By default the controls of the software are very convoluted, cumbersome, and difficult to use. I would HIGHLY recommend assigning the picking commands to "single stroke" hotkeys! (one key shortcuts)
Personally I use the center pivot command, the pick CV/vertex command, the pick object command, and pick hull command, the most frequently.
I personally use these custom hotkeys(shortcuts):
-Z key for pick object
-X key for pick CV
-D key for Center pivot
-L key for pick hull
But you could use any hotkeys/shortcuts you want.
